Default How to remove the Delete Block? question at bottom of page?

Everytime I hit the "delete" button on my keyboard, a question pops up at the
bottom asking me if I want to: Delete Block? (No) Yes

Because of this it takes two steps to delete something rather than one. This
just appeared on my computer and am not sure how it got here but noone else
in this office has to do that.

Can you tell me how to avoid the extra step?

Thank you.
Robyn

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General tab | uncheck the two boxes
for WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
