How to install printer drivers locally but connect to Network printer to avoid a Word 2007 annoying problem
Hello,
Word of 2007 Office has an annoying thing that Word keeps trying to
connect to a printer. If the printer is a network printer and the drivers
come from the computer the printer is attached to, each time Word tries to
connect to the printer, you need to wait a very long time. Very annoying.
Somebody I Goggled suggested that the printer drivers should be installed on
the local computer. How do you install the drivers on the local computer but
connect to a network computer under Vista. I need step by step instructions
please. Thank you.
