Default How do I write in IPA?

I need to be able to write some words in the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Arial Unicode MS and Lucida Sans Unicode are on my computer (I have
Microsoft XP) but they're not unicode. They're just straight text. I'm
confused. Please help. Thanks, Ruth

To open Character Map, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Character
Map.
