How do I upgrade a standard Microsoft office 97 to a newer Micros.
I have standard Microsoft office 97 software loaded on my XP Home operating
system and I would like to upgrade to a newer Microsoft office, what is the
best way for me to attempt to do this task?

By purchasing an upgrade edition, of the required version, from eg
amazon.com or your favorite PC store
(NB you would need your Office 97 cd should you ever need to clean install) http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/su...757671033.aspx
The above assumes you are using windows2k or later

Re: How do I upgrade a standard Microsoft office 97 to a newer Micros.
The latest version you'll be able to upgrade to is Office 2003, if you can
still find it. Office 2007 will not accept Office 97 as a qualifying
product.
