Default How do I configure XP home to run Office 2003?

I have had a bigger harddrive installed on my laptop and XP has been
reinstalled on the new drive. I have copied Office across from the old drive
to new but when I attempt to open any spreadsheet or other office application
I get a message saying the operating system is not presently configured to
run the application. I cannot find my Office discs so I hope the answer is in
the setup of XP.
Can anyone provide a walk-through to configure XP?

The answer is you must install Office from the discs.

You can't just copy files and expect software to work. You will need to
find your install CD if you want this working. "Not properly configured"
means that you didn't install the software and the appropriate registry
entries do not exist, and you are likely missing a few other files as
well. So locate the CD, put it in the drive and follow the prompts.
