I find the new "Calibri" font difficult to read. It's not as sharp as Arial.
It also appears to be smaller. How can I change the UI font in the Office
2007 products? If nothing else, can I enlarge the font size?
You can enlarge the font size by reducing your screen resolution.

izm - To me it looks like the UI typeface is the same as in previous
Windows/Office versions. It's not Calibri, it's not Arial, though very
similar to both.
I think the biggest problem is that with all the soft and fuzzy Vista
coloring, contrast is not as good. Try setting your Windows display
properties to one of the Classic Windows color schemes, this should help.
So far, I find nothing that lets you change the size or style of the UI text
in Office. You can affect some control of Windows text, but even there not
all seems to be under the USER's control (gee, like we had any control
before?)

Val - Who died and left you in charge of satisfactory? If you have a
better suggestion, please feel free to offer it to the OP. At least I
tried to answer the OP's question, which by the way was NOT how to
change the screen color. Nobody needs another wannabe netnanny like you.

Go to the View menu, click "Curent View", click "Customize Current
View", and choose "Other Settings". You can change all the default
fonts/font sizes here.
That works in Outlook, for only some of the internal parts of Outlook.
Menus and other Windows controlled UI fonts are not affected, nor does this
help in Word, Excel, etc.
