I'd suggest using Publisher but you haven't told us which program you prefer
to use.

Really don't know how to start this is my fisrt time using Publisher. Which
format do I use postcard? or do I have to create my own?
I want to be able to print it with the info on both sides matching up, so
when they are cut out they look like baseball cards.

There may be templates available but I doubt if there's anything for
Publisher. Even if it's the idea program for it, there aren't a lot of
templates. If, however, you do create one, you can submit it to Microsoft
for inclusion on their website.

If you have a duplex printer printing both sides is not a problem.
If you do _not_ have a duplex printer, however, do not begin by printing
multiple copies. Print a few copies of the "front" page and spend some time
figuring out how to insert the back page so that it prints on the blank side
and with the correct orientation.
If you printing full-bleed, be aware that some printers have odd paper paths
that make aligning margins of front page with margins of back page
problematic. Again, experiment.
