how can i create a pretty map for invitations

I need to creation a direction and map insert for invitations to a function.
Can anyone help me

Visio if you feel the need to do it from scratch. Otherwise I would suggest
Street and Trips or MapPoint. If none of those is an option, Google Maps.
And then use Publisher for the invitations.
