HELP! LOST PRODUCT KEY OFFICE HOME 2007 BEFORE FINISHING INSTALLAT

Hello!
I really need your help, because I did something very stupid. I purchased a
laptop and Office home and student 2007 last week in Miami. I live on the
islands and being overpacked, I threw anything out, I didn't need, most of
all, all the unnessesary packing material.
The office CD came in a big plastic pack, which after a struggle opening, I
threw away.....WITH the product key. I installed office already in Miami, but
the installation programm never asked for the product key at that point, but
it does NOW! I don't know, what to do, I can not find anything on the CD
itself.
I can not find it in the registry, because it was never submited in the
first place.
Please let me know, what to do, whom to write , anything. THANKS!!

Sounds like jojoma and susi2000 need to get together. One has the CD and
the other has the key.......... ;-)

(and before I get flamed, yes I know that this isn't proper.)

Dear Milly,

Thank you for your response. However on the website, it looks like they keep
sending you in circles. Due to the nature of the problem, I will have to pay
$ 46,- first to even be able to submit the question. And then I am not even
sure, I will find the solution.
Please any other suggestion, maybe a direct e-mail address of a real person??

If you threw away your Office CD and product key,
you have no choice other than to repurchase Office 2007.

Hello Carey,

I still have the CD and the receipt, just didn't realize, I had to keep the
packaging. By the way, it's weird, that the installation programm doesn't aks
for the key right after installation!!
Anyway, if it's true , that I would have to spend another $ 130,- just 1
week after I bought the software the first time, then Microsoft truly is a
consumer unfriendly company.
