I am trying to get Outlook and Word to use a subsitute address book.
My old laptop died and I was able to get the Office 2003 address book
and save it on my new laptop. I want to get Office 2007 to use it. I
can see a address book called Administrator in my Document and
Settings directory. I copied my Office 2003 address book there. I
expected to easily tell Word and Outlook to use the Office 2003
address book. That was naive of Me. I tried the Microsoft web page,
but all I could find was where for a fee ther might answer a
question. What a company....

What exactly do you mean by "Office 2003 addressbook"? Outlook has CONTACTS,
contained within the PST file. What exactly have you copied to your new
laptop?
Re: Getting Office 2007 to use another address book
I'm intrigued; what is the name & path of this address book?
