Genuine Advantage

I just started working for a company that has Office XP Professional
installed on all its workstations. They are behind a rather severe firewall
(as in GOOGLE is blocked), and very few of the employees are
cmoputer-literate enough to know about updates or service packs or (etc,
etc). Well, the Microsoft website is one of the few allowed, but when I went
to update my copy of Office, which installed and activated fine, I get a
Genuine Advantage notice that the copy of office I'm trying to update is
licensed to a corporate client.

The company I work for is officially incorporated, so it is possible that it
is a legal copy and licensed to my boss. How do I find this out (and get it
cleared up) so that I can get my updates? Any ideas, or am I stuck?

We don't have an IT Department (I think unofficially, I'm it), and my boss
honestly doesn't know. Apparently, since this is Office XP, it's been on
these computers since before his tour of duty.

Do I just assume that they're dis-Advantaged and look into buying the
licenses or is there somewhere that I can find out for sure?
