Default Format not supported by Office Clipboard

I just reinstalled Vista and am having a problem with clipboard. It is very
strange. Previously I would click on a picture from a company's website and
copy it and paste it using Paste Special and I chose what I remember as DIB
file and I would past that into the notes section of a contact. Or if I had
a picture of that person I would do that. However, now when I try to do that
I am getting odd results. First, some pictures, jpg's for instance will show
up in the clipboard, but I can only past the html connection, not the picture
itself. Then others such as tif or jpeg will give me the error message
above, "Format not supported by Office Clipboard." What is going on?
