I know you can install Office 2003 & 2007 side by side, but when doing so
office 2007 becomes the default applications. Is there an easy way to make
2003 the default application besides going into tools -> file options and
going to each file extension and choosing the program to open it with.
I would like to have 2003 be my default app and use 2007 when I want to. Any
help will be appriciated. Thank you
An easier way would be to right click on the file. (Like a .doc for example)
and choose open with. Browse to winword.exe that is in c:\program
files\microsoft office\office 11\winword.exe. Put a check in always you this
program and hit ok.
That willl reassociate .doc files with word 2003. Do the same with the other
office apps.

I seem to only have the problem with Excel. I do an open with, browse to the
2003 excel exe and select always use this, but when I double click on an
excel file it opens in 2007
