Errormessage while opening Word 2000 docs in Word 2003

We have a lot of documents that have been created with Word 2000 and now make
problems in Word 2003. They can only be opened by the "Open and
Repair"-function. The reparations are always of the type "internal data
integrity (type 4)" (List 1, List 2...) Is there a way to avoid doing this
for ALL our documents?
