Default Error Message Using Reference/Research Tool

I have been receiving an error message whenever I use the right click 'look
up' function for reference/research tools in all Office applications (i.e.,
Word and PowerPoint).

I get the message "Microsoft Office has encountered a problem and needs to
close..." The thesaurus function works; however, every time I try 'look up,'
I get the error message and then the application closes.

Here is the Error Signature information:

AppName: winword.exe
ModName: msb1core.dll
Offset: 0000a757
AppVer: 11.0.869.0
AppStamp: 465f2a40
ModVer: 12.0.4578.1014
ModStamp: 4541773c
fDebug: 0

I have tried all of the "fixes" in microsoft and windows help and support I
could find for anything and everything that is even close to my
problem...nothing has worked.

I am running Windows XP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. jkl
