Default Error after Outlook is closed

I have started to receive an error after I have closed Outlook. Upon exiting
Outlook, I get the message that Outlook has encountered a problem and needs
to close. The error report contain the following information:

AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.8217.0 AppStamp:480f95d9
ModName: unknown ModVer: 0.0.0.0 ModStamp:00000000
fDebug: 0 Offset: 01a4678c

I have tried Detect and Repair and have also run SCANPST.EXE. both have not
resolved the issue.

I run Outlook 2003 SP3.

Any suggestions on what else I should try?

Thanks
Harry

How big is the .pst file? What file format are you using - Unicode (new to
Outlook 2003) or Ansi (97-2002) format?

My .pst file is approx 520MB. I am mindful of the 2GB size limit, so start a
new .pst file every year. The file format is Unicode.

Thanks
Harry

Hi Milly.

Looks like I may have found the cause of my problem. It may have been
Activesync causing it. I managed to find and install a utility about 3 days
ago to disable Activesync from my taskbar and since then I have not had the
error.

Regards
Harry
