Default Create xlt files (excel templates) using excel 2002

Hi All,

I´m using Microsoft Office 2002 and I need to create a excel template (xlt
file).

It´s possible to use save as template at this version or we can have this
only in 2003 and up ?

xlt's are basically xls files with extensions renamed. their content is the
same.

Sure, you should be able to make a template with Excel 2002.

Yes, Office 2002 allows you to Save As Template (*.xlt)
