Default Copying file info from Explorer to Excel

Hi! Is it possible to copy info from Explorer (not the web browser but the
program that is used in Windows to navigate in the file structures, called
Utforskaren in Swedish) and then paste that info into Excel? I need a list in
Excel of the names of certain files and when they were created (date, time).
Any help appreciated!

Not in the way you want. You can use a screen shot but that won't give you
an editable list, just an image. Offhand, I don't know of a way to do what
you want - at least not without some third-party software.

You can redirect the Dir command to a text file:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true

It would take me longer to read that than it would to just print out a
screen shot. ;-)

Perhaps Karen's Directory Printer {
http://www.karenware.com/powertools/powertools.asp } would help. One of the
options is to save as a text file.
