Default convert filemaker pro database to access database

I have an organization that is currently using filemaker pro 7 and wishes to
switch over to access.

Does anyone know of a realtively simple way to convert one to the other.
I've tried importing all of the files types that it will export and none seem
to do the job.

I really, really, don't want to have to create a new database for each one
they have and the reenter the data manually.

Thanks,

I'd suggest posting to one of the Access specific ng's - there are many

I looked for one before posting here and only saw one for access security.
I've also searched for one and can only find this general office newsgroup.
Thanks for the pointer though, maybe someone else has some more specific
suggestions?

Sure. Post in one of the following Access-specific newsgroups. URLs
supplied to make this as simple as possible.

http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm....public.access

http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...gettingstarted

http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s.externaldata

The last would be most appropriate. If these don't appeal, try the
others, which appear under the heading Access Database in

http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...tOverview.mspx

Is that specific enough?

Perfect, I've also saved that general area to my favorites, I had never seen
it before. One of the groups had the answer I was looking for. You can't
get there from here. I will have to recreate the databases......
