I am experiencing Clipart errors in both Word & Publisher 2003. These
programs normally function properly and Clipart normally inserts as needed.
Today I keep receiving error messages in both programs: Clipart Organizer
can not complete the operation / error code x800C0008. During the process of
attempting to complete the operation, program(s) freezes up and I an unable
to navagate anywhere else in my computer.
I have made several frustrating attempts with no luck. I have attempted to
both repair Office 2003 & reinstall it, still no success.
Its very frustrating and has really cost me a lot of time and patience
today, both of which I am running short of.
Are you sure about that error code? Would you please post the exact error
message? There are a couple of different things to try but wording makes a
difference.

Check your firewall, there has been some problems with the firewall not allowing
access. Empty your temporary Internet cache. In Internet Explorer, tools,
Internet options, delete files.
Compact your Organizer, open the Organizer from start, Microsoft Office Tools,
when the Organizer opens, tools, compact.
It none of the above works your Mstore10.mgc maybe corrupt. Find this file in
your application data (hidden file) rename it to Mstore10.old. Clip Organizer
creates a new Mstore10.mgc file automatically.
After Clip Organizer creates the new catalog file, you must re-import any custom
clips that you previously imported, and retype any clip property information
that you manually created. --

I have tried everything exept the last one that you recommended. No change,
same error message comes up. This is just too frustrating for me to work on
today. I have no more time to devote to this. Its my day off and I have
spent entirely too much time on this little project for work today. I just
don't have the time for the frustration. It takes anywhere from 5 - 10
minutes for the error message to display and during that time I am not really
able to do anything else while I wait.
I appreciate your help. Thank you.

Where do I move it to? Also, I tried inserting clip art into a blank
document on another computer in the house and had the same problem.

I made some alterations to my firewall settings and was able to resolve the
problem, temporarily. It worked for a few clips, then got stuck again and
the entire program is frozen right now.
