Default Can't view Word docs created in Office 2000 after installing 2003

Today I installed Word 2003 and now I cannot view any Word documents that
were created in Office 2000. I am using Vista operating system. Is there
anything I can do to see these documents again?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you mean you can't find them in Windows Explorer or that you cannot open
the files? If that's the case, what happens when you try?
