Default Can't find MS MDI in my Start/ MS Office Tools. Must I buy extra?

According to MS Online at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/he...771031033.aspx MS Office should
have a scanning function using MS MDI on the Start/MS Office/MS Office Tools.
I can't find that in my Start Menu. I have Vista with MS Office. Do I have to
order this as an add on to Office? If not, how do I get this to work?

Microsoft Document Imaging is an optional installation. You need to put in your Office CD and install it.
