Default Can one create a custom aspect ratio (3 x 3) in picture manager?

I have to reduce several images to 100 x 100 pixels.
I want them to display square and therefore need to crop them to an aspect
ratio that is square. Only the following aspect ratios are available: 3x4,
3x5, 4x6, 5x7 & 8x10.

Is there a way to specify a new aspect ratio?

I am using Microsoft Office Picture Manager (11.6550.8122) SP2 (2003 version)

No, but you can drag the crop handles(or type dimensions) till you have
a 100x100 pixel image, and then drag the whole crop box over the area of
interest and drop it.

Thanks Bob I,

I have also noticed that if I first resize the picture to 100 pixels wide
for instance (after having cropped the width as desired), and then crop it
afterwards, then I can type in the excess no. of pixels to cut off e.g. if it
is on 250 high, then I can type 150 pixels to cut off the top or bottom and
proceed by moving it around till I get the desired picture.

Regards
Margherita
