It depends on local laws and the lease you have. Sample templates can be
found on Microsoft's office.microsoft.com site. One such notice is here:

24 hour notice seems a bit extreme, though. I'd be surprised if the lease or
if local ordinances permitted that short notice.

You don't need permission from the users here to do that, but you might
check with your local authorities to see if it is legal.
