Default can i save a word or excell document to a normal cd in d: drive

i would like to know how to save a document to d; drive
onto a cd is this possible like to the old floppy disk
can some one please let me know

Copy the document from the location you saved it on the harddrive to the CD.

Neve, never, never save directly to removable media. And just because we
used to do it with floppies doesn't mean that it was the correct way to do
it. (Doing that was asking for file corruption.)
