CAN I REINSTALL OFFICE after I uninstall it?

I'm getting a "out of memory or systems resources" 0x800700E error message
when I try to send or receive Outlook email. I have a Compaq Presario C500,
with 2GB RAM and plenty of hard drive; emptied the clipboard, reduced
startups, but can't get rid of the message. I'm using Professional Plus
2007, Student. I have the disk and product key. Is there anything else to
try before reinstalling Office?
