Default Can I deactivate my Microsoft Office 2007? If so how?

I have a new Dell computer and I have Microsoft Home and Student on it. I let
my sister use a re installation CD for the product on her computer, and she
used the product key. Now I only have 25 days to use my office since it can
only be activated once.

So? Did you get the CD with it? Home and Student can LEGALLY be installed on
THREE computers.

Pre-installed software is limited to the system it comes with. And since you
cannot use it as a qualifying product for an upgrade, when the old computer
is decommisioned, your software is dead. That's the big downfall to using
OEM software.

Because it's what's preinstalled. A lot of people buy computers without
fully understanding what exactly they are getting for their money.

OEM copies cannot be transferred to another pc regardless of what happens.
