Default Can I buy and download Windows 2003 online?

I need to download Microsoft Office 2003 for my online course at school. I
currently have Microsoft XP 2002. Do I have to uninstall my 2002 before
downloading 2003, and can I buy and download this online?

You can purchase an upgrade for Office 2002 however because that is not the
latest version, you may have difficulty finding it, especially as a
download.
