Default Bullets and numbering.

I see how to do basic numbering such as

1. asdfjkl;
2. asdfjj;l
etc.

But how do I indent and autonumber 2.1, 2.2, etc? And then how do I
back out a level?

Lastly how can one suspend numbering? For instance to put in a couple
of quoted paragraphs.

Thanks,

gtb

Got it, I think: Pressing return after 2., 3. comes up. Pressing tab
gives me 2.1. Shift tab undoes it a level, it seems.

Now if I could just get tables to stay where I put them....

Try a right click on the table and then table properties and see if that
gives you the tools to do what you want.
