Default BUG : with Office 2007 SP1

Hi all,

I've found a little bug in office 2007 SP1 french version.

On a fresh install, if you lunch outlook before any other office
application, the little box asking username and inital disapear as soon as
outlook open and as we can't validate it, all actions in outlook are
forbiden.

Workaround, lunch any other office application (like word) to valide the
username dialog box and after Outlook can work.

Happy new bug !

Hi Hegms,

Was this an existing Office 2007 installation where you applied the SP1 update then opened Outlook, or are you installing Office
2007 new and including the Office 2007 update as part of the deployment?

What version of Windows and are you also using a MS Exchange product?

Hi bob,

It is an existing installation of 2007 which have been patched. The problem
occurs only with new user connecting on such computer configuration.
Returning users don't have any problem.

We're running under Exchange 2003 but I don't think it matter here.
