BCM Office Addin Error Message

I recently bought a new computer with the full Office 2007 suite
pre-installed as a trial version.
As I had already bought a different Office 2007 version, I uninstalled the
trial version (which included Outlook I believe) and installed my bought
version which does not include outlook.
Now, whenever I start an Office application I get the message 'BCM Office
Addin - Office application version does not match'.
I have tried to find a solution and all I can find is KB935569 which seems
to relate to installations that include Outlook.
As mine does not, how do I cure the problem?
