Default Auto Date and Time stamp

Hi, is there any way to have time and date stamp on Word or Excel by default.

This means every time a user opens a Word document there'll be date and time
stamp but the user can then remove the date & time stamp if they don't want
it.

Yes, you can modify the templates that load the blank New page. On the
other hand if you are referring to doing this to documents that already
exist, you will need to do it with a macro.

Instructions for editing Normal.dot are found by.

Open Word Help, Search for "edit template", click "Change the Normal
template (Normal.dot)" link.

Instructions for inserting the time stamp are found by

Open Word Help, Search for "insert date", click "Insert the current date
and time" link.
