Default An annoying pattern of stripes hovers over my curser

My curser has a small rectangular pattern of stripes that follows it about.
Sometimes it goes away, but it always comes back. It has only happened since
I got windows XP Home.

Are you referring to a small group of lines, long short long short either to
the left, right or below the I-beam cursor? If so, you are seeing the Click
and Type feature.

See: http://blogs.msdn.com/jensenh/archiv...15/597983.aspx for
example and info
