Default add word to dictionary

I am using office 2007; when I run a spell check and want to add a new word
to the dictionary, the dialog box comes up with options of IGNORE ONCE,
IGNORE, ADD TO DICTIONARY - the first two options are usable but the third is
grayed out, making it not usable. I have searched for a solution to this but
have not found anything - any thoughts?

Thanks.
