Default 2007 outlook attachments to hard for others to open ?

I don't know how to change the format so word documents aren't editable to
how i'm sending them too ?
I tried to send them as pdf files but they're huge and if just opened they
aren't viewable as written .
Is there an idiot proof way to send a attachment out of word 2007 that any
below average person can open on a computer that they can't edit the
oringinal I sent ?

..pdf files are generally smaller, not larger. If they aren't viewable as
written, then you may be using some fancy font and it's not embedded.

I wasn't aware the new time roman was fancy ?
I sent one of these fancy files to myself and when i left clicked it and
opened it it was in code mostly english but, not reconizable as sent .
now if i saved the file instead of opening it .
It went to my documents and right clicking that file and opening it with
adobe it was exacally like I sent , and not coded .
My question is just changing the fancy font going to make these sent
attachment easier to open in the pdf format ?

No, stick to TNR. Are you trying to open .pdf files in Word? If you are,
it's no wonder you're getting something that appears to be code.
