Default DVD burning question? ? ?

One more aggravation about my new laptop with Vista: I can seem to find how
to copy a DVD movie disc. There's no copyright problem, because I made
copies using Roxio, but Roxio is not to be found on my new system.

I insert the disc to be copied, then go to My Computer, which immediately
recognizes the disc. Then I right-click the disc icon, and from the menu,
choose "Burn to disc"

But I always get a message, "no files to burn."

Any suggestions most welcome.

Well, Duh! Neither is Photoshop or non-trial Microsoft Office or even
non-trial Antivirus.

Some things require that you buy or otherwise acquire software to do them.
