Default Problems uninstalling Netgear Wireless Adaptor

I am trying to install a new Netgear Wireless Adaptor but when I run the new CD it trys to uninstall the previous version but I get an error message
"Failed to load DLL:KLL file"

I tried to get Netgear to help me but they are saying I need to delete registry entries ???......

Can any one help me with this problem?

Thanks

Welcome Libby.
Are you running XP or Vista? Might be worth having a look here, Netgear Support Page.
