HP faxing issue

I have a hp officejet j6480 on my network. My wife and I both use Vista. She can fax directly from her pc. I cannot. I get the following error message Cannot create DIHPAiOFaxManager Object. It is in a window from the file hposfx08. I had another hp machine the 6310 which gave me the same exact error message. Can anyone advise how to fix this

Have a look here, it's the fifth one down, HP support it's not the same model but may provide a clue.

I saw that one already. did not work. I believe the problem lies in Vista but not sure where to look

How about trying a post in either HP or in Vista in the Usenet group... there are usually MS MVPS knocking about there, if I come across anything I'll post back here. Clicking HTFC Forums link top left of this page will take you to the index page.
