Default Impossible to uninstall HP office jet series 2/4/5

Hello, I am trying to uninstall an all-in-one HP office jet from my control panel. It shows in my control panel 5 consecutive times as hp office jet series,hp office jet series, hp office jet series 2, hp office jet series 4 & hp office jet series 5. The error messages that I receive are: "turn of the device before proceeding & a problem occured initializing the device manager & insert the hp office jet series disk." The program folder is no longer on my C drive, I no longer have the disk for this device as it's long gone.

Any assistance that can be provided is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

First, disconnect the OfficeJet from your computer. Then download and
run Revo Uninstaller:

http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html

It should do a fairly clean uninstall of all the OfficeJet software, one
of the choices it will give you when you run it.

If you still want to use the OfficeJet, reinstall the software after
downloading it from the HPaq web site.

HP software to support its printers and scanners has a spotty
reputation, with a lot of technical quirks and oddities. The software
often tarnishes very good hardware... Ben Myers

One more thing. Download and install CCleaner. Use it to clean up
obsolete registry entries that may inhibit re-installation... Ben Myers

HP's low end hardware is catching up with it's quirky software in the race
for lower cost. In the 80's and most of the 90's HP was second to none, It
hurts me to watch them hurdling towards mediocrity.

Gee, maybe that's why I use an older LaserJet 4050 that won't die?
