Default Remove CD scratches with toothpaste..!

Did you know you can use toothpaste to remove CD scratches... see this video clip Using toothpaste to remove scratches on CDs. Here's another way Using banana peel to remove scratches.

I normally use Brasso or Silvo a metal polish, the secret is using a lint free cloth in a straight line rubbing action... do not use a circular motion over the entire disc on a hard flat surface.

Beware
if trying on a monitor or digi cam screen these usually have a anti reflective coating... and will surely be removed, these methods will not work on glass.
