Default Why no HDMI to VGA Adapter?

Want to hook a VGA port on a computer to a HDMI connection on a
monitor. Reason being this is just temporary until I upgrade the
computer, and need to run this cable through the wall. So I figured I
could purchase a cheap adapter that would allow the HDMI connection to
plug into the video card VGA port.

I see all these cheap adapters on eBay allowing VGA to DVI ($1), but
the VGA to HDMI adapters are larger units which are a couple $100
dollars. I thought DVI and HDMI was similar, what am I missing.

Check HDMI pinout. No RGBHV for VGA on there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hdmi

On DVI-I, there is RGBHV, suitable for easy and
cheap dongle adapters. (See pin 8, and pins
C1 through C5.) Only DVI-I has analog. DVI-D
doesn't have the analog pins.

As I understand it, the DVI --> VGA adapters don't do all the work
themselves, they need a card capable of outputting in VGA format over
the DVI port.

HDMI ports may not have that same circuitry available. Odds are DVI
ports won't either for too much longer.

HDMI includes the audio signal, for one reason, which VGA does not.

Paul is any thing rough by giving information of your area of
experience which took years to master and some one asked for help and
after informing he or she and sends them to purchase what they are
looking for from your partners who you have but, used and tested the
products. To me that is no crime. I love people to refer me to a
product and services they used and tested because this gives me more
confident to buy. This is the best way to shop for anything at all
either products or services. By the way let me ask you this question
if you answer this i will send you my personal telephone number to
call me if you need any help related to computers, web designing and
internet in generally.
so here is the question

OUT LINE SEVEN CAUSES OF THE DISPLAY OF DEAD SCREEM?

I will be waiting for your answer
