Where can I download a driver ?

Where can I download a driver for a Phillips DVD burner model dvd8631.

I cant seem to find any site. phillips.com is NOT for electronics.
Using google all I find are discussion groups.
I need a driver for Win98se so I can use the thing.

Never seen a cd or dvd drive yet that needed a driver under windows
later than 3.1. If your drive isn't showing up, it may be dead.

I'm just shootin' in the air here, but are you asking for a driver
or a free program to burn CD/DVD's?? Never heard of a driver for
optical drives for Windows 95 and beyond.

Do you mean driver or firmware update?
For the last one, there seems to be something here:
http://cd-rom.free-driver-download.c...ware-BD10.html
But it's dated November 2004! This drive is ancient and probably not
supported anymore.
Same goes for Win98, nobody supports it anymore these days.

There are sites that specialize in drivers. Some of them are pay sites
but you can find them with a Google search.
