Dan,
If you stick with WindowsXP, as I have the same 4-meg of ram in my WinXP
32-Bit that I'm using in my case WindowsXP shows 3.455-meg of ram. I'm
using a home-built with an Asus P5LD2 Deluxe mainboard with 2 Corsair XMS2
Twin2X2048 dual channel sticks and am using a 256 meg graphics card in my
case. I still have my old 1 meg pair but would lose at least some ram if I
replaced one of my 2 gig sticks with a 1 gig pair for a 3-gig total so the
4-gig total set will stay.
