Default Samarai Z Cooler

I just retrofitted an old socket 478 with the Samarai Z cooler. I am not
sure if I put it on right in that the only thing that appears to fix the
cooler to the circuit board are 4 clips that just hook on the frame on the
MB. When you gently pull up on the cooler it doesn't come up however you
can rotate it slightly. It seems to me the pressure against the CPU isn't
that great. However I am running this as an HTPC and the CPU temp doesn't
exceed 45C so it seems as if it's doing it's job. This is the first time
I've ever put a CPU cooler on a MB and I want to make sure I am doing it
right. Anyone familiar with this cooler:

Thanks!
