Default rebuilding PC: No Video Input

I have transferred my PC from a slimline case to a standard one. The
only other thing I have changed is the CPU fan and power supply.

I have had some problems getting the system to stay powered up, but
have resolved that (didnt have power button connectedto mobo). The
problem now is that the monitor is not picking up a video signal
(message on screen "no video input"). I'm using the same graphics
card:

GeForce 7100 GS (PCI-express)

Can anyone help?

Does it give single beep? If not, is NOT powering up correctly, is CPU,
motherboard, memory or PSU problem. If beep, power off, disconnect power
lead and reseat video card, then try again.

G 'day

This might be a long shot, My old back up computer used to do that the
me every now and then, mainly after I had moved the computer from one
place to another.

Take the Video card out and the put it back in firmly, it might not be
making a clean contact, mine never used to beep to tell me the
problem, just the message on screen to say no signal.

And check the monitor plug does not have a bent pin.

Cheers
Keith

Years ago I once carelessly zapped a video card moving a system from
one box to another. I hope that's not the cause of the OP's problem.

Does that VGA have a supplemental power adapter and if so is it plugged
in?
