quad core on asus p5gc-mx\1333 mobo

gday all, i'm wondering if intel quad core cpu will work on an asus
p5gc-mx/1333 mobo..googled but couldn't find a definitive answer.

You might get a definitive answer with an Intel mainboard.

Also, there is an ASUS motherboard discussion group, I would post
there if I were you.

I think the likelihood is high that the p5gc will except quad core
CPUs, maybe requiring a BIOS update for optimal performance.

thanks..i'll ask on the the asus ng but from your link it looks pretty good
so far.
