Default Partition Magic 7 ("batch"), Sunbelt (was Kerio) Pers. Firewall

Hi,

I run a little multi-boot desktop system. The hard drive config.
looks like:

--------------------------------------------
| | |
| disk 1 | disk 1 |
| partition 1 | partition 2 |
| | |
--------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------
| | |
| disk 2 | disk 2 |
| partition 1 | partition 2 |
| | |
--------------------------------------------

where all partitions are primary, Win2k sp4 with AVG, Spybot S&D,
Sunbelt PF. All partitions are directly bootable except disk 2
partition 2 (d2p2).

Every Sunday nite for years I jump thru the following hoops:

1.) Boot d2p1
2.) Run chkdsk/f on d1p2 (my everyday usage partiton). It prompts me
to abandon all file handles on d1p2.
3.) Run a PM7 window wizard to delete d2p2, then copy d1p2 to the d2p2
space (as a backup image).

I suspect that Sunbelt PF has the file handles on d1p2, but I'm
not certain.

What I'd like to do is compose a .bat file that would release file
handles on d1p2 and invoke PM7 with parameters, etc to delete/copy
per 3.). Executable from, say, the top level directory when d2p1 is
booted. My intuition tells me this *should* be practical.

I've investigated PM7 scripts: it doesn't appear they will do what
I need. The system is run on a virtual shoestring, buying backup
software, etc is not an option.

Any possibilities?

Thx,
Peetie
