Default Need some setup help

I'm attempting to install XP Pro on a MSI K9A2 Platinum on a single HD
that's on one of the 2 Promise SATA ports. I eventually want to install a
RAID1 on the ATI SB600 ports so I am only installing that RAID driver during
windows setup. But after press F6 and install the drivers and it begins to
start the windows installation I get a blue screenwith a 0x0000007B stop
code. Is this because I didn't install the Promise drivers? I can't see why
it would need them if I intend to run those 2 in ATA mode.

I know the drive's good... it was in another computer as a storage drive and
I can pop it out of this new build and put it back in the old computer and
it works just fine.
