Default IE7 and google

I have a strange thinking in my browser. If I go to my default page
google. I get an extra menu acroos the top.
Web Images Video Maps News etc. All hyperlinked. Can't think where
this has come from or how to remove it. Any sugestions please. Can't
find anything in add remove programs.

It comes from Google, part of their page and has been for a long time.
