Default Help me decide on specs!

Hey all -

Been a while since I have built a computer myself, and it's time to
upgrade my desktop. I'm relegating my old 2.5 gHz laptop to become a
server, and now I need a real hi-quality desktop to do video editing &
3D rendering.

Requirements:
* DirectX 10;
* Ready for a second SLi card (in the future);
* Dual or Quad core 0 at least 4gHz total;
* at least 2GB ram;
* no accessories and monitor necessary.

Can anyone help me to find the best prices on this configuration?

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Take care,

.... Christopher

It seems you have decided on which processor you need (Core 2 Duo or Quad
Core). I like the NV 680i motherboards like the Asus P5N32-E SLI for your
needs. I run that board with 2 NV 8800 GTX cards and it performs well. At
least 2gb of 1066 ram would be nice. Try www.newegg.com for all probably all
you need. I have never had a problem with them.
